Hub (Maserati ATC)

It also secures the pressure plate, diaphragm springs, and clutch springs, ensuring the internal clutch pack operates with the correct tension and alignment for smooth power distribution.

Stainless steel provides superior durability and heat resistance compared to standard alloys. Because this part manages high-friction components like clutch discs and springs, the stainless steel construction prevents warping and premature wear, extending the life of your AWD system.

If the hub is worn or damaged, you may experience jerking during acceleration, vibrations in the drivetrain, or delayed engagement of the AWD system. In severe cases, it can cause the clutch discs to misalign, leading to a total failure of the transfer case’s torque distribution.
