Let me introduce myself. I am Zsolt T\u00f6r\u00f6k, one of the owners of Transfer Case Part. We will wander together in the world of transfer cases and four-wheel drive cars. Of course, there will also be talk about rebuilding and repairing transfer cases, and the importance and role of the parts. I will also share with you some useful information that I have personally experienced over the past many, many years during the rebuilding of transfer cases. Experience can be gained only if we do these things by ourselves, of which we talk about and form opinions. There will be tricks and practices!<\/p><p>Let\u2019s start at the beginning!<\/p><p>The first vehicle in the world which actually had a properly usable and real transfer case was created by two Dutch brothers in 1903 in Amsterdam. The two brothers, Jacobus Spijker and Hendrik-Jan Spijker created something world-famous. The car was designed with a six-cylinder engine and the first functional transfer case, by which they realized their dream. They entered mountain races with the car. Needless to say, they won! They gave the car the name SPYKER 60 H.P., and it became a two-seater sports car, which, among other things, became part of the history book of the car industry by being the first in the world to be fitted with a six-cylinder engine.<\/p><p>By the way, the car is still on display in a museum in The Hague.<\/p><div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"384\" src=\"https:\/\/transfercasepartshop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/A-vilag-elso-4x4-hajtasu-autoja..jpg\" alt=\"Oszt\u00f3m\u0171 alkatr\u00e9sz\" class=\"wp-image-417296\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/transfercasepartshop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/A-vilag-elso-4x4-hajtasu-autoja..jpg 640w,  https:\/\/transfercasepartshop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/A-vilag-elso-4x4-hajtasu-autoja.-300x180.jpg 300w,  https:\/\/transfercasepartshop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/A-vilag-elso-4x4-hajtasu-autoja.-500x300.jpg 500w,  https:\/\/transfercasepartshop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/A-vilag-elso-4x4-hajtasu-autoja.-64x38.jpg 64w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure><\/div><p>Basically, this is where it all started.<\/p><p>But where are we now?<\/p><p>There are cars equipped with smart four-wheel drive on the roads. They are equipped with control motors and modules with oil specifications. Or is it enough to have a chain, a mechanical transfer case, two drive shafts and two differentials? Why not?! Much depends on the needs of the user and of course the car manufacturers. Renowned manufacturers have since lined up with various powertrain systems. We could start the list with the AUDI Quattro drive or the SUBARU SAWD system, both of which are mature technologies. We could go on with the BMW Xdrive system, which many people blame, even though it only needs a little more care. But one thing is for sure, we, who are passionate about four-wheel drive cars, are interested only in having our four-wheel drive in perfect working order, and enjoying the freedom of driving across the mountains and through the valleys!<\/p><p>Thanks for reading my first post.<\/p><p>We will continue from here.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The birth of the transfer case Welcome to the TRANSFER CASE PART website.
